Surface Fuel Consumption

Surface Fuel Consumption (SFC) is the predicted weight of fuel consumed by the fire on the forest floor. It is measured in kilograms per square metre of ground surface and is based on the Fuel Type, the Buildup Index, and the Fine Fuel Moisture Code.
